How to Find Us
Mitchell Hall is located just outside the village of Cranfield between Milton Keynes and Bedford. We are conveniently situated for travellers from London, Oxford and Cambridge, all of which are only an hour away by road or rail.

Mitchell Hall is ten minutes from the M1 motorway and can be accessed from either junction 13 or 14.
From London and the South
M1 north to junction 13. At the roundabout, follow the signs for the A421 in direction of Bedford. At the second roundabout, take the second exit signposted to Cranfield, Hulcote and Salford. Continue along this road to Salford and turn right at T-junction, signposted Cranfield. Follow this road to the end and go straight across the first roundabout, right at the second, then left at the third. At the mini-roundabout (Petrol Station on your left) go straight over and continue until you pass the Natwest Bank on your right, Mitchell Hall entrance is the next on the left hand side.
From Birmingham and the North
M1 south to Junction 14. Take A509 in direction of Wellingborough, then immediately first right, proceed through Moulsoe, then turn left following signposts.
From Bedford and the East
A428-A422 West to Astwood (7 Miles), then left following signposts. Or A421 South-West though Kempston then right through Wootton (5 Miles) following signposts.
From Oxford and the West
Follow A34, then A421, to Bicester, Buckingham and Milton Keynes. In Milton Keynes follow signs for M1 North (Junction 14). Then proceed as from Birmingham and the North.
By rail
Bedford and Luton are on a direct line into London’s King Cross station and on to Brighton and the south coast. Milton Keynes is on the London Euston to Glasgow west cost main line rail link.
By air
London-Luton, London Healthrow, London Stansted, East Midlands and Birmingham are within 90 minutes’ drive from Mitchell Hall.
